Job Description
Summary
The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for providing care and education for toddlers aged 2 to 3 years old. They will create a safe, nurturing environment where toddlers can explore, play and learn. The Lead Toddler Teacher will develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development. They will also monitor each child's progress and provide feedback to parents.
Duties
Plan, supervise, and implement lessons and activities designed to enhance the healthy emotional, social, cognitive, spiritual, and physical development of each child, using a variety of methods and materials in the fields of art, music, literature, science, etc.. Help children establish good habit of personal hygiene and assist with diapering and toilet training as needed.Attend all staff meetings and required continuing education. Conduct home visits before classes begin for the year. Maintain progress records of each child’sgrowth and development and hold parent/teacher conferences twice annually. Foster a nurturing environment, using positive discipline methods. Establish and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, students, and families.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Early Childhood Education Experience Preferred
