Old Station Craft Meats is a family owned and operated butcher shop in the heart of the Waukee Downtown Triangle.

JOB FUNCTION:

Support and assist our team of butchers with daily meat production activities. Prospective employees should be friendly, hard-working, dependable and a team player. This is a full-time position. Must be willing to work some, but not all, weekday closing shifts (until 6pm) and Saturdays (8am - 3pm; we are closed on Sundays).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·                  Meat cutting, grinding, stuffing

·                  Meat packaging

·                  Assisting customers with purchases

·                  Clean equipment and sanitize daily

·                  Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

·                  Must be at least 18 years old or older (to use sharps and operate processing equipment)

·                  Ability to work with others

·                  Good interpersonal skills

·                  Good verbal communication

·                  Math skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·                  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
