Job Title: HVAC-R Lead Installation Technician

Job Summary: A Lead Installation Technician is responsible for installing HVAC equipment. Along with an apprentice, the individual in this position will communicate to the company project manager & “General contractor/Customer- if applicable to the Job your on” the progress and outcome of the install. A minimum of 5 years experience is required.

• We are currently looking for an HVAC-R Construction / Service Projects Lead Installer. At this position you will be part of our Construction department and perform equipment install and changeouts for our existing customers as well as a wide variety of all HVAC-R applications. This also includes owner direct projects and new installs. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated individual with both technical skills and leadership capabilities. Projects will be typically of short duration to mid in length.

In these positions you will work with a wide range of equipment and air flow systems including:

• Packaged roof top units of all sizes
• Large commercial / industrial split systems
• Make-up air units
• Mechanical piping
• Refrigeration systems
• Refrigeration piping
• Chillers
• Boilers
• Hydronic systems
• Water source heat pumps
• VRF and VAV systems

OVERALL GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements on an iPad and submit paperwork according to Job.
• Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications with great attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings / prints for job lay out and take off
• Job management skills / ability to be self starter , work independently or as lead laying others out on work to be performed
• Be on time and maintain reasonable attendance.
• Manage responsibility as a lot of what we do will require you to supervise yourself and make decisions.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

-Refrigeration piping

-Gas Piping

-Low voltage / Low voltage controls

-Commercial installation of hangers (Unistrut, pipe hangers ,duct supports etc.)

-Equipment start ups (wide variety)

-Charging of systems

-Equipment Rigging

-Complete HVAC-R Install

-EPA

Pay Scale:$30.00-$50.00 Depending On Experience
