A new independently owned and operated Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting franchisee is seeking to hire an experienced Auto Body Repair Technician with a strong focus on quality and production. 5 years of experience and having your own tools is preferred. I-Car and OE certifications are preferred. Dependability and ability to adapt are also necessary for the right candidate. Workdays and hours are Monday - Friday 8 to 5. No weekends! Responsibilities

Repair/restore auto body collision-related damage to pre-loss condition
Remove damaged fenders and panels
Straighten frames
Weld metals, repair metal, and plastic components
Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
Grind, sand, and file repaired surfaces
Perform proper tool and equipment usage and maintenance

Qualifications

Collision repair technician with 5 years of experience and tools is preferred
I-CAR certification is a plus
Working knowledge of body shop equipment and tools including frame and measuring equipment
A team participant with a good work ethic and positive attitude
Valid driver's license
Dependable attendance
High school diploma or equivalent
