Sr. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

 Based in Chandler, AZ, Stahls’ Transfer Express manufactures custom heat applied transfers for apparel and more. Our transfers are used by athletic apparel dealers, T-shirt retailers, and many other markets in the U.S. and Canada.

We are seeking a Sr. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. He/she will work under the Maintenance Manager to help maximize efficiency and minimize machine downtime as well as maintain building maintenance and other projects as assigned. We are looking for a Sr. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic who is a self-starter with an established background in in maintenance repairs, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical skills.   

Essential Job Duties:

·         Perform highly diversified duties to install, maintain and/or troubleshoot and repair all mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical              production machines and to include the overall facility’s equipment.

·         All preventative maintenance as it relates to routine machine maintenance and repairs to include visually inspecting equipment at                    periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment or lubrication.

·         Routinely conduct projects identification and execution to maintain safety/security of grounds, facilities and employees.

·         Respond to work requests in order of priority and in a timely manner.

·         HVAC routine maintenance with associated repairs/upgrades.

·         Routine HYD oil changes/filters and clutch/brake adjustments on equipment where appropriate.

·         Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of              production equipment during machine service.

·         Sets up and operates variety of machine tools and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain industrial            machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

·         Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

·         Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

·         Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and                      material handling equipment in performing duties.

·         Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

·         Comply with OSHA safety regulations and the 360 Safety Program at GroupeSTAHL to include spearheading production safety                      protocols to include, but not limited to, training and enforcement of lockout/tagout protocols and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Requirements:

·         High School/GED diploma required. AA in Mechanical, electrical or industrial major preferred.

·         Industry experience of 2- 5+ years; preferably in a customer manufacturing environment.

·         Forklift/Hi-Lo operation required.

·         Master Electrician License preferred.

·         Able to work at tall heights and lift 50+ lbs
