Position: Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) 

Responsibilities:

1. Provide individual and group counseling services to clients experiencing homelessness or housing instability, addressing mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and other psychosocial concerns.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans collaboratively with clients, focusing on strengths, goals, and resources to support stabilization and recovery.
3. Facilitate psychoeducation and skill-building groups, workshops, and support services to enhance clients' coping skills, self-esteem, and community integration.
4. Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to address clients' unique needs, preferences, and cultural backgrounds, adapting interventions as necessary.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers, housing specialists, medical providers, and community partners, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in electronic health records, adhering to agency policies and regulatory requirements.
7. Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed, implementing safety plans and referrals to appropriate resources for clients in acute distress or at risk of harm.
8. Participate in clinical supervision, case conferences, and staff meetings to review cases, receive feedback, and engage in professional development activities.
9. Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and ethical standards in social work and counseling, pursuing continuing education and licensure requirements.
10. Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, collaborating with community stakeholders and advocating for systemic change to address housing insecurity and social determinants of health.
