Job Description
SummaryUnder general supervision, performs a variety of assembly and maintenance functions including a variety of manual labor tasks, performing strenuous physical labor and using various power and hand tools; and perform other related work as necessary.
 Primary ResponsibilitiesEssential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
  •  Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  •  Identifies / labels Circuit card assemblies (CCAs) & Line-replaceable units (LRUs). Integrates / assembles CCAs to chassis sub-assemblies.
  • Performs mechanical rework per rework instructions.
  • Performs final unit level clean-up.
  • Performs other related assembly duties and responsibilities as assigned. Performs Facilities Maintenance related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Performs basic tasks such as changing out light bulbs, adjusting clocks, replacing batteries on associated equipment (clocks, paper dispensers, soap dispensers, sinks, and hand sanitizer dispensers).
  • Restock conference room beverages and coffee and cups in break areas.
  • Manage office supplies including inventory control, ordering and stocking.
  • Set up and tear down of tables, chairs, easy ups for company events.
  • Cleaning out storm drains and assembling / installing any fixtures required in the office.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on plumbing, electrical, assembly workstations, and machinery to determine the appropriate corrective action. For example, in-house repair or contracting a service provider.

  • High School Diploma and 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Duties are limited to lower-level task and requires Manufacturing Engineering / Manager assistance with more complex facilities tasks.
  • Can operate a forklift.
Level I  
Salary Range $40,547-$62,961
  • High School Diploma and 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Duties are limited to lower-level task and requires manufacturing engineering / Manager assistance with more complex facilities tasks.
  • Can operate a forklift. 
Level II 
Salary Range $47,418-$72,640
  • High School Diploma and 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Requires some assistance or instructions from the Manufacturing Engineer with normal drawing documentation data package.
  • Basic Soldering & Wire prep.
  • Performs wire prep and understands how to read and follow the Wire List, Cut List, and Work Instructions.
  • Can perform more complex assembly with engineering assistance.
  • Performs more complex facilities tasks such as patching and painting walls, changing out Reverse Osmosis Water Filters, A/C Unit Filters, Monitors and cleans roof storm drains, identifies any maintenance tasks that require support from our local Plumbers and HVAC company.
Level III
Salary Range $53,796 - $82,893
  • High School Diploma and 5 or more years of related experience.
  • Does not require any assistance from Manufacturing Engineering / Manager with complex facilities tasks.
  •  Is self-sufficient and able to acquire quotes and acquire competitive pricing with multiple contractors for any Facilities Upgrade related tasks.
  • Coordinates with existing contractors and vendors related to facilities such as landscapers, waste management, hazardous waste pick up, Shred-it, etc.
  • Familiar with the installation and operation of ESD monitoring equipment.
  • Initiates visitor request and may be responsible for visitor check-in / escort.
  • Initiates vendor transaction due diligence process for new vendors related to facilities.
  • Actively supports and assist with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives that relate to facilities.
Physical DemandsWork is performed in a production environment and regularly requires sustained performance of physically demanding work including lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20 to 50 pounds) and dexterity of arms, hands and fingers to operate hand and/or power tools such as drills, hammers for performing facility maintenance and inspection. Job Essential functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for standing, walking, constant bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, kneeling and occasional use of safety/protective equipment.Work EnvironmentMay involve exposure to dust, fumes and moderate levels of noise.
