Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a skilled industrial maintenance technician with manufacturing experience to perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain plant equipment. You will also perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of our machinery and facilities equipment.

This role works four 10-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, mills, presses, lathes, production and facility-related equipment
• Installing new equipment
• Inspecting and assessing functionality of production machines
• Trouble-shooting all types of breakdowns
• Adjusting, changing or fabricating mechanical parts using hand and power tools
• Reading and interpreting schematics, drawings and blueprints
• Fabricating parts for repairs or improvements to machinery
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports, charts, lists, etc.

To ensure success you should have advanced mechanical knowledge, excellent trouble-shooting skills, and good time management skills.

Requirements:

• 3 years previous work experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting
• In depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Knowledge of industrial control systems
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills
• Computer literacy required; experience with computer maintenance management software preferred
• Ability to lift and manipulate equipment (up to 75 pounds)
• Ability to reach, lift, climb, crouch, push and pull
• Good time management skills
• High school diploma or GED
