Role
As a Diesel Technician/Mechanic (also known as Fleet Services Technician, Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic), you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues in tractors and trailers. You'll use standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment, perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, and conduct DOT inspections per FMSCA guidelines. This role requires physical capability to perform all job duties, including lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more without restriction.
Benefits- Competitive pay rate of $20 - $35/hr, depending on experience level and certifications.
- $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid out in the first 90 days.
- Stable Monday - Friday day shift schedule.
- Valid driver's license with a preferred ability to obtain a Class A, B, or C license.
- Technical or advanced degree or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows.
