Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant performs comprehensive accounting tasks including financial record maintenance, report preparation, and technical duties within designated areas. Day-to-day responsibilities encompass financial statement preparation, ledger upkeep, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Additionally, they contribute to financial data analysis, participate in audits, and ensure compliance with corporate timelines. This includes preparing month-end journal entries, conducting accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies promptly. They also conduct research to validate financial transactions and adhere to company guidelines, utilizing accounting and reporting systems such as JDE, Hubble, and Catalyst. Moreover, they review income statement and balance sheet accounts, adjust financials as necessary, and oversee bank statement reconciliations through effective communication and collaboration with support teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

• 3+ years of related experience

• Experience with reporting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite

Compensation: $77,000 -$93,000  
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
