REPORTS TO: Director – Security & Infrastructure

LOCATION: This position has been designated as one that must be performed in the Tampa office.

You are a highly-skilled and experienced Security Administrator who is passionate about safeguarding digital landscapes and ensuring the integrity of cloud-native applications, local network(s), and physical environments. You are dedicated to staying at the forefront of security trends and technologies, constantly expanding your knowledge to adapt to the ever-changing threat landscape. This role presents a unique chance to ensure the security and resilience of our operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to uphold industry compliance standards and certifications, further enhancing our security posture. What you will be doing

• Support our Security Team in the ongoing development of organizational security protocols.
• Leverage your expertise in cloud-native security tools to proactively monitor, assess, and counteract security threats and incidents.
• Oversee the management of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Administer and optimize the company's Local Area Network (LAN), ensuring robust connectivity and security.
• Supervise the organization's network infrastructure, including computers, users, and TCP/IP configurations, for maximum efficiency and security.
• Oversee physical security measures, including access control and video surveillance, conducting regular audits to safeguard organizational integrity.
• Develop and execute incident response plans for network and cloud environments.
• Conduct security risk assessments and draft comprehensive mitigation plans to address identified risks.
• Ensure compliance with SOC2 framework and HITRUST certification requirements.
• Pursue and uphold key security certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GSEC, AWS Security Specialty, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
• Maintain Zero Trust security principles to both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Employ automation tools and scripting languages for automating security tasks, such as log analysis, alerts, and deploying security measures.
• Coordinate with vendors for vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, managing external security vendors as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve security issues promptly and effectively.
• Communicate complex security requirements and risks to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Security & Infrastructure at his discretion from time to time.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Six- to eight years’ experience in cloud security operations, with expertise in AWS and Azure environments.
• Strong understanding of prevalent security practices and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a forward-thinking mindset.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with often-changing priorities.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry a plus.
