• For this role, we really need someone strong in production planning/scheduling with knowledge of routings and capacity planning.
• Strong SAP experience is needed since we're already deep into the project.
• APICS education & certification is a preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills are preferred.
• Experience working on projects is a plus
• Oracle experience is a plus

Position Summary
Responsible for transitioning existing production planning and scheduling processess and personnel from Oracle to SAP while meeting all project milestones and dates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Percentage of Time

• Ensures that all gaps between the existing production planning and scheduling processes in Oracle and the future production planning and scheduling processes in SAP are identified and resolved 20%
• Ensures that all gaps between the existing production planning and scheduling reports in Oracle and the future supply chain planning and scheduling reports in SAP are identified and resolved 15%
• Ensures all Oracle planning and scheduling master data is successfully migrated to SAP 15%
• Ensures that all SAP planning and scheduling processes are thoroughly vetted and tested to defined quality standards 20%
• Ensures all production planning and scheduling personnel are thoroughly and adequately trained on SAP solutions and processes to execute their supply chain functions on the project go-live date 20%
• Provides support to all production planning and scheduling personnel post-go live to ensure a smooth transition from Oracle to SAP 10%

Primary Outcome

• Production Planning and Scheduling processes and personnel are successfully transitioned from Oracle to SAP per the project milestones and dates.

Position Requirements:

• Education Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience or training
• Education Preferred: APICS certification.
• Experience Required: Five years experience. Expertise in SAP & Oracle production planning and scheduling systems. Experience with change control processes in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience Preferred: Expertise in computers with a thorough understanding of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed: SAP ECC & APO, Oracle, APICS training, Word, Excel

Technical

• Thorough knowledge of production planning and scheduling, manufacturing processes, and ERP systems. Knowledge of applicable GMP's related to manufacturing.
