Job Description

A Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)/LPN performs general nursing services of assigned physicians and/or department. In accordance with HIPAA regulations, this position requires full access to Protected Health Information (PHI). This position assists in multiple areas based on the needs of our clinics. In this role, duties may include but are not limited to; rooming patients, collection of health history, data entry, phone triage, assisting providers with patient care and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

High school diploma or GED required
Graduation from accredited medical assistant program
Clinic experience preferred, but not required. Orthopedic experience appreciated

Licensure, registration or certification:

Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant preferred
