Driver and Warehouse Associate With Box Truck Experience

POSITION: Driver/Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:

Truck driver, load - unload delivered goods and warehouse associate. Provide support for shipping, receiving, customer service, and repairs. Report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver UMA Solar products on assigned routes in a safe manner.

· Verify quantities and components are loaded on trucks accurately.

· Secure products to ensure safe delivery.

· Obtain customer signatures on all delivered products.

· Process outgoing packages for shipment or delivery.

· Prepare orders for shipment from picking sheets.

· Build and create materials for shipping.

· Unload incoming containers and trucks and check against packing lists.

· Assist with warehouse inventory as required.

· Assist with walk-in customers to fill order requirements.

· Professionally communicate per the established company policy with clients regarding delivery of orders.

· Provide excellent customer service.

· Work closely with sales reps to ensure continuity in client relationships.

· Work within a team concept with fellow warehouse associates.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

· Allow for cross training with other department positions to assist where needed if absenteeism occurs.

Background & Qualifications:

· Clean driving record

· CDL license preferred.

· Forklift Certified

· Self-motivated, organized, customer-service oriented and a team player.

· Can integrate comfortably with a multi-disciplined manufacturing/distribution organization and can multi-task within that type of structure.

Special Physical Requirements:

· Ability to physically pick up and move heavy products for long periods of time.

· Ability to lift 50 - 100 pounds.

· Hourly rate employee
