We are seeking Warehouse Tugger and forklift operators to join our Global fortune 500 team! We currently have 2nd shift and 3rd shift. The hours are 1:45pm-10:30pm and 9:45pm-6:30am. Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.
NOTE: This position is in the Mercedes plant in Ladson, SC. There are multiple businesses in this facility, in order to be considered for this position you have to be able to badge at this location. If you worked here previously, you have to had left on good terms (2 week notice with any companies there) in order to be considered to come back to this location!
Responsibilities:
- Moves product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using forklift, pallet jack or dock loader.
- Maintains the equipment in a safe and clean manner and reports service requests as needed.
- Follows safety rules, operating instructions, and company procedures.
- Driving a tugger
- Loading/unloading trucks and trailers filled with Pallets, Cardboard Bales, Plastic Totes, pallets, and bales
Dumping carts of trash and recyclables into Roll offs, Compactors and Balers
- Driving tuggers which may entail Pulling Carts
- Baling materials, sweeping, and computer training
- Moves product or materials in a production or warehouse environment using forklift, pallet jack or dock loader.
- Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Records amounts of materials or items received and distributed
HOURS/PAY
- 2nd shift 1:45pm-10:30pm $15.50/HR
- 3rd shift 9:45pm-6:30am $16/HR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
