System Analyst 4

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst 4 with proficiency in coordination, direction and procedures for all testing phases of a multi-vendor, large scale software system. The candidate must be able to work with minimum supervision and have the ability to successfully interact with multiple technical and user groups. Required to work with the Business and Technical team members, coordinate the execution and monitor the schedule, track results, and raise awareness when risks or problems arise. This is a hybrid position 3 days/week onsite in Richmond, VA. 

Contract date: 04/29/2024 - 08/30/2024 ***Contract expected to extend 6 months + 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for all System Integration Testing (SIT/UAT) for the MMIS and MES modules as well as the testing of configured Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) applications, and the conversion and integration of data from other systems in Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES Modules and COTS products). Significant experience in managing the defect triage calls with multiple vendors and tracking the defects to closure in a timely fashion.
• Expected to have the ability to understand the requirements and design of the project and able to develop test cases, test data and verify the software changes and to problem solve issues that are escalated and serve as liaison between the developer and the user.
• Responsible for communicating and reporting to a variety of stakeholders about the results and progress of all UAT Testing including Test Summary and Execution metrics.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Escalating and tracking UAT defects through the resolution
• Track and maintain historical UAT Testing information
• Significant experience in managing UAT, defect triage calls and Co-ordination involving multiple systems/Vendors/Teams
  
• Able to meet deadlines with a high level of integrity, professionalism, customer service and motivation
• Mainframes Testing experience is required
• Experience with Teradata queries is Preferred
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of (5) years experience in Test Scenario development is required 
• Minimum of (5) years experience in Data Preparation is required
• Minimum of (5) years experience in Test Case Execution and Test Results validation is required
• Minimum of (5) years experience in defect tracking and metrics reporting is required
• Minimum of (3) years familiarity with claims processing software is desired
• Minimum of (3) years experience with TeraData Queries and exposure to large scale systems is desired

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Possession of an appropriate driver's license valid in the Commonwealth of Virginia
