Job Description
Snelling is currently recruiting for a Temp Recruiter/ HR Generalist for an customer friendly car wash in the Trussville, AL area! The ideal candidate is someone energetic, dedicated, and a go getter! The Recruiter / HR Generalist will over see the HR operations, recruiting, data entry, complete onboardings, and other HR roles needed.

Pay for Recruiter/ HR Generalist: $15.00-$18.00/ hr. DOE
Key Duties and Responsibilities for Recruiter / HR Generalist:
  • Review job details and prepare internal/external postings for staffing; in coordination with hiring manager determine recruitment strategy including pre-screening questions, and where advertising would occur to provide diverse applicant pool.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases and online tools.
  • Provide initial screening of applicant pools, as well as phone screens or interviews where applicable to assess candidate’s skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools.
  • Coordinate and align with proper management on interviews.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Continuously stay current on recruitment trends through our Area Operation Managers and best practices and recommend improvements to our recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Support the HR Director in employee relations, onboarding, and any new hire related topics.
  • Conduct employee onboarding.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics.
  • Scan, email, and answer calls.
  • Perform additional HR duties as needed assigned and/or within the scope of the position.
Required Skills and Education for Recruiter/ HR Generalist:
  • Associate’ degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working as an HR professional.
  • 3+ years' experience conducting full life cycle recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience with recruiting for a variety of roles, including technical and operational.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with using an HRIS, total life cycle preferred, preferred to have experience with benefits, recruiting, compensation and performance management.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, & communication skills
  • Complex problem solving
  • Good computer skills with ability to learn new software
