Job Description

Granite County Medical Center is expanding our Physical Therapy Department.

Current opening is to provide per diem support to the department with time of increased census and patient load.

Granite County Medical Center has an immediate opening for a Per Diem Physical Therapist treating pre and post orthopedic surgical conditions, sports injuries, and spinal conditions. Responsible for providing patient care including assessing, interpreting, planning and implementing specialized physical therapy treatments.

Requirements:

BS, MS or DPT degree or Certificate in Physical Therapy from an APTA - accredited education program.
Effective Communication skills.
Effective Computer skills.
Strong ethical and moral character references.
Willingness to support and encourage co-workers.
Reliable and timely with great organization/multitasking skills
BLS
Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred:

Minimum of one year clinical experience as a practicing physical therapist.

Advanced orthopedic skills.

Knowledge of policies, regulations, requirements of clinic and regulators.

Granite County Medical Center is a critical access hospital, 25 bed facility with two healthcare clinics providing ER, X-ray and PT services. Located in historic town of Philipsburg in the Pintlar mountains offering a range of recreational outdoor activities including downhill skiing, stream or lake fishing, hiking, camping, mountain lakes, ice hockey, award winning micro-brewery, sapphire mining and summer theater.
