Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year
We are a CPG start up located in the Bay area. Remote position but must be located in California (quarterly visits to the office).

Responsible for all accounting, auditing, reporting, budgeting and tax and SOX compliance for our organization.
Perform month-end general ledger close activities for the corporate entities including preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling general ledger and sub-ledger accounts and other variance analysis.
General accounting, AP, AR, Cost Accounting, Inventory, sales taxes.
Report financial results to internal and external stakeholders.
Compile and provide financial data to outside audit firms for filing annual tax returns.
Identify areas for process and system improvements. Partnering with Product Management and IT, implement global control improvements and monitoring processes.
Assist with the process of establishing and monitoring the annual budget.
****Requirements
MUST HAVE PUBLIC COMPANY EXPERIENCE.
Strong understanding of SOX control requirements.
