Die Cutter Operator - Printing Projects

We are excited to share a new opportunity for a Die Cutter Operator located in Marietta, GA! The purpose of this position is to set up, operate, and maintain Bobst (102 & 104) die cutting machine and other bindery equipment.

This is NOT an entry level position - Experience Is Required.

Die Cutter Operator Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of Bobst Die Cutting experience (or similar die cutting machinery).
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, job jackets, press imposition and rule-up sheets.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Stand and walk 95% of the time.

Die Cutter Operator Job Duties:

• Remove sheets of printed or unprinted paper stock from the load and place them on cutter bed. Jog and align sheets against the cutter guide in preparation for cutting.
• Activate computer to move sheets into first cut position. Activate double hand switches to begin cutting operation.
• Examine cut material for any imperfections and adjust computer program as needed.
• Change knives and lubricate as needed as recommended by manufacturer's specifications.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
