Accounts Payable Specialist

Atlantic Southern Paving is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices for payment. The process includes seeking the proper approval for all invoices as well as accurate job and general ledger coding of such invoices, as well as managing corporate credit card programs for ASP and other related entitites.

Some responsibilities will include:

• Process all Job related and G&A invoices with correct distribution and submit for approval
• Match material invoices with Timesheet/Ticket
• Manage Corporate Credit Cards from processing to reconciling
• (Amex, Capital One, Home Depot).
• Manage ASP Accounting email
• Vendor setups to include W-9 and required Certificates of Insurance.
• Vendor statement of account reconciliation.
• Vendor inquiries
• Accounts Payable filing
• Generate and distribute weekly AP aging to the National team
• Process weekly check run.
• Generate weekly vendor release of liens.
• Monthly vendor Compliance Audit.
• Post daily outgoing ACH transactions
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in AP
• Experience in Construction is preferred
