Security Officer

Key Staffing is looking to hire a Security Officer for a client in Tulare, Ca. The Security Officer is responsible and accountable for all aspects of site security. Site Security includes, but is not limited to, ensuring compliance with regulatory and Food Security/Food Defense Programs as well as maintaining the Safety of the employees and company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor facility incoming visitors and employees
• Ensure all employees have proper credentials for accessing the facility (HID Badge)
• Ensure all incoming visitors/contractors/trucks log in and log out at the gate (using the Envoy electronic sign in system)
• Patrol designated areas in accordance with the Food Security Plan/ Food Defense Plan
• Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
• Report suspicious activity to the Safety Manager immediately
• Complete incident reports and necessary documentation for all security incidents
• Respond to emergencies promptly and according to policy
• Monitor alarms and security cameras
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Food Defense Programs (FDA/FSMA)

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid Security Guard license (State of California)
• Previous security-related work experience preferred
• Develop and deliver on assigned objectives within requested timeframes.
• Possess strong grammar skills (including proper sentence structure)
• Possess strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize and maintain organization
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
• Engage others in a positive manner.

Details:

• Shift: 2nd
• Hours: 6pm-6am (12hours)
• Rate: $16.50/hr
• Location: Tulare, Ca
