QA Software Engineer

Hybrid 3 days in Office/Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

Nordic Naturals QA Software Engineer will help ensuring the quality of our Shopify eCommerce sites, SAP ERP , and other systems. The team performs quality assurance on new software, reports bugs, and helps improve internal tools.

A great candidate for this position has a curious, analytical mind, and enjoys gaining new knowledge on the go in a fast paced environment. They are dedicated to their work, quality-focused, can handle repetitive tasks, and are willing to take initiative and go the extra step to help the team. That has automated web testing experience Collaboration and communicating effectively with teammates is important for this role. Preference for candidates in science, technology, physics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, data analysis or similar fields.

Essential Function Statement(s)

Work alongside our engineers and designers to help us to refine the user experience on a list of exciting set of projects. As a member of our QA team, you can expect to:

• Execute the software test as per the project requirement at different levels of testing.
• Manual test eCommerce and other system site on desktop and mobile.
• Working with QA team to create automation strategy and follow through to create and execute automated test scripts
• Document test case into test management tool.
• Post bugs and track using JIRA.

Location Statement:

This is a remote position for those who live outside of 40 miles from Nordic Naturals headquarters in Watsonville, CA. Our culture is very important to us and for team members who live inside of the 40 mile radius we expect them to be onsite 3 days a week to help support our collaborative community.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
• Programming experience in any language such as Python ,Java, , C/C++ ,Javascript
• Experience developing automated test scripts using Playwright, Cypress , or Selenium
• Knowledge of testing frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Mindset around quality and exploratory testing ("What would happen if I clicked here?")
• Good communication skills through both email and telecommunications
• Excels in a teamwork environment
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with Tricentis Tosca is Plus
• Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high quality release.

Pay, Benefits & Perks:

The estimated annual pay for this role is $75,000 to $100,000. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
