Remote Occupational Therapist

Job Summary : We are seeking a Part-Time Remote Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school based assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Write clinical SOAP notes.
• Provide direct therapy and assessment services to children in school based and clinic settings
• Collaborate with team members, including teachers and other specialists
• Maintain thorough and accurate assessment and therapy related documentation
• Performs other related duties assigned by management
• Participate in continuing education training

Qualifications:

• Valid state license or certification of California Occupational Therapy (OT) License
• Masters Degree or higher in occupational therapy
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Highly developed interpersonal and technical skills for team collaboration establishing therapeutic rapport in a child centered environment
• Fingerprint background Clearance
• Tuberculosis (TB) clearance
• Must have SEIS experience
