Job Description

We are currently seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team! You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs with a focus on the mining industry.

Responsibilities:

Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
Determine financial status and analyze forecast results
Analyze publicly available financial, technical and regulatory filings on mining companies
Technical analysis of trading patterns of publicly traded mining companies and mining related exchange traded funds
Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
Prepare profit and loss models

Qualifications:

Experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
Advanced spreadsheet skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Having completed at least year one of a four year program from a Top 25 US university's business school
