GA Telesis is seeking an intellectually curious, ambitious Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team, based at our global headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Finance department is a growing, high-impact team responsible for financial planning, strategy, and data analysis. The team works with each of our business units to analyze potential acquisition opportunities and leads the process in developing financial models to present to our senior management.
Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst role supports the team with budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, as well as financial modeling that drives the company’s aggregate performance and informs its competitive position. You will be responsible for producing and maintaining various financial reports for senior management and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable with working in excel, has an interest in the commercial aviation industry, and is a naturally inquisitive individual.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analysis to examine strategic alternatives, projected performance, and capital allocation
- Monitor ongoing financial performance and provide relevant and actionable analysis of key drivers
- Prepare presentations for internal and external clients, including management, shareholders, and partners
- Interface with multiple business units on highly variable topics and problems
- Participate in all aspects of the corporate finance group
- Update and follow up on delegated tasks to meet aggressive deadlines
- Take initiative in absence of direct report
- BS/BA in Finance
- 2-4 yrs experience as a financial analyst
- Expert with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of three-statement financial modeling (income statements, balance sheets and cash flow) is necessary
- Must have excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality
- Ability to work in an onsite, office setting
- Flexibility and ability to change direction
- Interest or experience in aviation is a plus
