Summary/Objective
Process payroll checks and reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Assist clients with any troubleshooting in regard to the shipping area. Keep the shipping department and all of it’s functions running efficiently, suggesting improvements when necessary.
Essential Functions
- Process, package, and ship all payroll accurately and according to schedule and shipping log.
- Troubleshoot client-reported payrolls identifying errors and issues that will have a negative impact.
- Verify delivery of payroll and notify payroll specialists of delivery exceptions and help troubleshoot to the client’s satisfaction.
- Manage payroll electronic files, as well as DecisionHR’s ongoing scanning and verification projects.
- Coordinate all shipping orders, maintain appropriate stock of supplies at all times, and keep all equipment well maintained. Keep printers and envelope stuffers well-maintained.
- Distribute and postmark DecisionHR mail as a backup. Assist DecisionHR with mass mailings and special projects. Includes all payroll fliers, check messages, check stuffers, and pay cards. Work with other departments when special projects arise.
- Assist in any facilities projects around the building.
- Physical attendance is required at the worksite 5 days a week 8 am to 5 pm.
Required Education and Experience
- A High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-2 years of administration experience is required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- An Associate’s Degree is preferred along with fulfillment experience.
