School Social Worker

We are currently looking for an outstanding School Social Worker for a full-time opening in the Berwyn area for the 2024-2025 school year!

Some Responsibilities:

• Listen to students’ needs when they come looking for help and discuss solutions with them
• Identify problems in the school setting, such as bullying and/or aggressive behavior
• Review students’ medical and mental health history
• Interview parents and teachers of students and update their records
• Create plans for students who are experiencing hardship at home
• Monitor and report on students’ progress
• Refer students and families to mental health services or psychiatric help
• Research new ways to improve children’s wellbeing
• Offer guidance to teachers of high-risk children

Requirements:

• Active IL Social Worker License
• Active PEL with a School Social Worker endorsement
