Night Shift 6PM-8AM --- FOUR - 10 Hour Days - DAY SHIFT 8AM - 6PM - 4 DAYS A WEEK
The client is 24/7 and schedule rotates.
Need SQL and Linux experience. The Computer Operator's position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of real-time transaction-based systems. This position will support the field with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Job Functions:
• Operate all computer systems in accordance with established schedules
• Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment
• Prioritize nightly processes to ensure performance of time critical schedule
• Run all programs for production systems
• Provide batch processing and tape backups
• Ability to problem solve and gather data to troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues
• Maintain accounting controls for tapes produced
• Must be able to run web-based vendor systems for E-Commerce products
• Log and report problems to management
• Must be able to prioritize tasks as assigned
• Ability to work with field staff, Retailer-base, and Lottery to troubleshoot and resolve different situations
• Ability to maintain an aggressive call volume
