Test Engineer (Intermediate)

Personnel Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree in the IT field or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in all task order applications and technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of debugging codes and software development languages.
• Experience working with popular operating systems including Windows and Linux.
• Ability to collate data and compile test reports.
• Excellent software troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to design and write complex software testing procedures.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Unified Functional Testing (UFT), Rational Functional Tester, Selenium, or Browserstack.
• In-depth experience testing Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS, or Linux applications that incorporate the following technologies: Client-server, web, mobile or cloud platforms.

Capabilities:

• Meet with development and test managers to discuss software specifications and controls.
• Use the software as intended to analyze its functional properties.
• Plan, design, create, and maintain manual and automated test procedures based on the requirements.
• Build, code, and implement automated tests.
• Execute and maintain automated and manual test procedures. Create and deliver test reports to test manager.
