In addition to marketing its products across national brands and retailers of all sizes, we also work with residential and commercial designers, offering a direct to-the-trade online marketplace. It has also made e-commerce a revenue focus and succeeded in attracting major online players. 

Our E-commerce development team is looking for a Project Manager to bridge the gap between our internal stakeholders and developers for the long-term and day-to-day execution of projects related to our E-commerce platform. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile software development and delivery processes, internal customer needs, and the Four Hands business vision and strategy. The Project Manager will help organize the investment of our engineering resources to maximize business value.


In This Role
  • Partner with product management and business leads to ensure planned features are clearly defined and achievable 
  • Assist the development of all Program/Project requirements (functional and non-functional) for customers
  • Supports the product owner and business leads to develop a product roadmap, release plan and drive delivery solutions to meet the product vision to drive business value
  • Ensure the product backlog is properly groomed by prioritizing and refining user stories for acceptance criteria in JIRA Agile; preparing for the upcoming 1-2 sprints
  • Monitor the effectiveness of scrum team processes and performance, and collaborate with the team on changes and improvements
  • Facilitate discussions around decision making and conflict resolution while removing barriers to successful delivery
  • Foster a culture of transparency and trust by regularly reporting project progress, problems, and solutions to stakeholders
  • Partner with Quality Assurance team to ensure quality metrics are included in the “Definition of Done” and considered at all levels of planning and execution
  • Collaborate with program managers and executives to determine priorities and resource allocation as needed for cross-functional projects
  • Coach team members to understand Scrum and the Agile principles
  • Evaluate technical solutions against defined acceptance criteria

The Ideal Person
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager working in an Agile SDLC
  • Experience with Ecommerce or online product platforms and processes
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, requirements gathering, user stories, defining business value, and working alongside developers, architects, product managers, UI/UX designers, and Quality Assurance 
  • Ability to understand technical constraints and issues
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using Agile Project Management tools such as Jira
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills – both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines and producing high quality work
  • Ability to work independently and remain flexible and organized 
  • Ability to establish and maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
