Job Description

Labor Finders in Shreveport is currently looking to hire an experienced STORE MANAGER for an immediate and long-term opportunity in the area.

  • Position: Store Manager
  • Location: Shreveport Area
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-Time
  • Pay: $65,000-$100,000 / Hour
  • Bonus Opportunity: YES

JOB SUMMARY: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a grocery store.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and training new employees, and ensuring they provide excellent customer service and follow company policies.
  • Scheduling, addressing complaints, and resolving problems with employees.
  • Inventory Management - Ensuring the store is properly stocked with products and managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Reviews profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; communicate any related issues to upper management.
  • Financial management - Maintaining the store's financial records, including monitoring expenses and minimizing waste.
  • Directs store operations and manages operating expenses to maximize cash flow, sales, shrink, gross margin, and net profit.
  • Reviews and analyzes budget and personnel reports to determine and address areas of concern.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance, public relations, product quality, work standards.
  • Displays exemplary customer service and enforces customer engagement standards.
  • Developing and enforcing operational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
  • Conducts store inspections and takes appropriate action to ensure store conditions adhere to Company standards.
  • Enforces quality control and food safety standards throughout the store and ensures dated products are stocked and rotated properly.
  • Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
  • Other related duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of store operations required.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees.
  • Ability to lead and motivate others.
  • Ability to learn new processes and transfer knowledge to others.
  • Ability to perform basic Microsoft Office functions.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet physical demands.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age required.
  • 5 years minimum retail management experience required.
  • Applicant has or can obtain state alcohol responsible vender certification.
  • Applicant has or can obtain Manager Food Safety certification.
  • Applicant has or can obtain Anti-Money Laundering certification.
  • Pass Criminal Record background check
  • Additional requirements / screening may apply.
