We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Analyst to support our team and ensure smooth daily operations.
Position Overview:
The Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in streamlining our operational processes, analyzing financial data, opening accounts, and processing client data. This position requires a keen analytical mindset, an understanding of the financial industry, an ability to learn new systems, desire to provide high level of service, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Account Service and Onboarding:
- Lead the process of opening new client accounts, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Assist in servicing client needs on existing accounts including helping with cash movement, processing RMD’s and IRA contributions, and moving money between accounts.
- Assist in review and management of Life/Health insurance policies.
- Collaborate with financial advisors and operations manager to gather requisite documentation and facilitate seamless integration into our systems.
- Proprietary System and CRM Management:
- Gain proficiency in the firm's proprietary systems and CRM platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CRM, updating client records, tracking task completion, and tracking interactions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Gather and analyze data to support the firms financial advisors and operations manager.
- Process and Workflow Enhancement:
- Implement approved process changes and monitor their impact, ensuring ongoing refinement.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in operations within a financial advisor and/or insurance brokers business.
- Basic understanding of financial markets and life/health insurance products.
- Tech-savvy with a proficiency in financial software tools and systems. Basic understanding of a CRM system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Upholds confidentiality and maintains high ethical standards.
- Currently hold Life and Health Insurance License or desires to obtain this license in 6 months.
- Currently hold Series 66 (or Series 65 & 63) licenses or desires to obtain this license in 6 months.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field is a plus.
