Industrial Maintenance Technician

Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for Manufacture company located in the Delray Beach area. Great benefits, amazing work environment, and a good opportunity to grow within the company.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday and Sundays
• 11 hours schedule - opportunity to work 20 hours of overtime weekly.
• Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K
• Pay rate $25 - $30.00 per hour
• Temp to perm/ full-time

Responsibilities

• Performs daily Preventive Maintenance program (PM) duties including rounds and readings, record keeping, etc.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
• Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions using the appropriate testing devise.
• Clean, lubricate or adjust parts, equipment or machinery.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Study blueprints or manufacturer manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
• Cut and weld metal or other appropriate material to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts or assemble new equipment.

Work Experience

• Assist other mechanics and operators with major maintenance and repairs of building equipment
• Requires the ability to analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required
• Respond to customer/management requests for maintenance on lighting, ceiling tiles, plumbing, roofing, etc., and small projects

Skills

Must have experience with chillers, boilers pumps cooling towers, compressors (Industrial)

• Previous experience in building maintenance or similar trade work
• Strong Mechanical knowledge
• Electrical experience
• Trouble shooting
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English
