Job Description

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (Fencing or perimeter security)
Location: Must live near Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Charlotte, Charleston, Houston, Nashville, or New Orleans
Salary: $130,000 to $140,000 + Commission (OTE = $215k - $231k)
Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k w/ match, PTO, Car allowance, Cell Phone, Computer
Travel: 60% - 70% regional travel via car and air
Job Type: Full-Time

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (Fencing or perimeter security) Description

Our client, in the outdoor security solutions industry, is looking for a Remote Business Development Manager to add to their team. You will be responsible for prospecting for new business, driving business growth, developing a network of contacts to attract new customers, maintaining relationships, and improving sales within the defined region or sector. Your goal will be to build out a pipeline of sales opportunities in your area that will contribute to sustainable growth. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong hunter mentality and proven sales success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing global organization that maintains a small company feel and offers excellent benefits and growth opportunities.

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (Fencing or perimeter security) Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business within your territory
• Promote product offerings through sales visits, presentations, and distribution of product
• Work with Engineering, Project Manager, and Sales Support team to ensure proper quotation
• Utilize CRM to track all customer contact
• Generate monthly operating reports for Business Development
• Investigate and identify competitors
• Document findings to Management from research and involvement in industry meetings
• Recommend changes in products, services, and policies
• Act as a liaison with Project Managers and Quality to resolve complaints
• Research product technology trends
• Track competitive technology and commercial strategies

[REMOTE] Business Development Manager (Fencing or Perimeter Security) Qualifications

• 6+ years of outside sales/business development experience required
• 2+ years of fencing, perimeter security, or related industry experience required
• CRM software experience required
