Student Oversight Manager

Overview

JST is currently seeking a Student Oversight Manager to join our team.

This is a full-time Hybrid position in Montgomery, AL. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Student Oversight Manager is a pivotal role within the AU Academic Education and Research Support program, dedicated to managing and enhancing the student experience across all program offerings. This position involves overseeing the enrollment, progress, and overall success of students within the program, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary to achieve their educational objectives. The Student Oversight Manager works closely with academic staff, curriculum developers, and technology teams to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.

Student Oversight Manager Responsibilities

• Oversee the student enrollment process, including registration, orientation, and onboarding. Ensure that all students have access to necessary resources and information to begin their studies effectively.
• Develop and implement strategies to support student success throughout their educational journey. This includes academic advising, tutoring, and access to support services.
• Regularly assess student feedback and program performance data to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to enhance curriculum delivery, student engagement, and overall program quality.
• Ensure student records are maintained in accordance with military, educational, and programmatic standards. Prepare reports on student progress, retention, and success metrics for program leadership.
• Serve as a liaison between students and faculty, facilitating communication and addressing student concerns. Work with other program managers to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to student services.

Student Oversight Manager Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in student services, academic advising, or education administration, preferably within a military, defense, or higher education setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement student support programs that enhance student success and retention.
• Experience in managing student information systems and utilizing data to inform decision-making and program improvements.

Desired Qualifications

• Professional certifications in academic advising, student services, or related areas are advantageous.
• A Master's degree in Education, Student Affairs, or a related discipline is highly desirable.

Required Clearances and Screenings

• DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
• MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
