Creative Director Product Packaging Design, Activewear Apparel Company

Reflex Performance Resources Inc. is at the forefront of activewear innovation, known for our commitment to quality, performance, and design excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Creative Director for Product Packaging Design to lead our packaging design efforts. This role is a unique opportunity to influence the brand identity of our leading activewear lines, including the renowned 90 Degree by Reflex and Yogalicious brands, through innovative packaging design.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of packaging for our activewear products, ensuring they align with our brand identity and market positioning.

Working closely with the Director of Design, collaborate with the Sales/Marketing and Production/Product Development teams to create packaging that stands out in the competitive activewear market.

Manage and mentor junior graphic artists, fostering a creative, productive, and collaborative environment.

Oversee packaging design process from concept to production, including material selection, graphical design, and prototype development.

Stay abreast of the latest trends in packaging design and sustainability practices to ensure our packaging is not only visually appealing but also environmentally responsible.

Present design concepts to senior management, articulating design rationale and adjusting direction based on feedback.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in creative packaging design, with a proven track record of innovative and effective packaging solutions.

Strong leadership skills with experience managing a design team.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and knowledge of packaging design software.

Exceptional creativity and a strong visual sense.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage projects under tight deadlines.
