Mechanic Automotive Technician (Full-time or Part-time, Flat Rate)

Our partners at Designed Oil Changes and Services are looking for an automotive technician. We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team! The ideal candidate specializes in European automakers along with knowledge of domestic and other imports. This individual is motivated and responsible with a 'can-do' attitude that has the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment. • Up to $100,000/annually (flat rate, based on experience)
• Flexible hours (Mon - Fri, some Sat)

Responsibilities:

• Repair automobiles, trucks, and other motor vehicles
• Ability to service multiple makes and models
• Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, oil changes, lubrications
• Perform brake, suspension, and exhaust repairs
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
• Willing to work at a steady pace
• Have a 'can-do' attitude to perform multiple tasks when required
• Technician must provide their own tools, specialty tools are available for use
• Be honest and transparent about their work

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• ASE certification is not required but preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to reliably commute to Sandy, Utah
