Scranton Dodge Chrysler Jeep is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues, performing routine maintenance and inspections, while ensuring satisfaction and safety.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot vehicle issues using specialized tools and equipment.
  • Transmission and engine repairs
  • Suspension and steering repairs
  • Warranty and recall repairs
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of service history, parts, and inventory.
  • Communicate with customers, services advisors, and service managers on timeline for repairs and maintenance.
  • Provide estimates or recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driverโ€™s License
  • ASE Certification preferred.
  • State and Emissions certification.
  • Automotive Service Technician experience required.
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment for automotive repair.
  • Knowledge of various makes and models of vehicles.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
  • Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
