Job Description
Salary: $135K-$145K

Here at Peace Out skincare we strive to create innovative, first-to-market, targeted products and routines for your skin's lifetime journey, looking for a dynamic, energetic, accountable, and highly self-motivated Director of Sales to join our team


As the Director of Sales (sell-in) you will be responsible for the following:


  • Supports all retailers in sell-in and sell-thru strategy to achieve budget and profit objectives
    • Own sell-in sales reporting and analysis to share with management and cross-functionally to support sales strategy. Proactively address risks & opportunities across retailers.
    • Owns sell-thru sales reporting and analysis
    • Provides guidance to sales planning and demand planning to negotiate seasonal stock & sales plans. Works hands on with internal and retailer teams to drive orders and hit net sales targets on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
    • Oversee pricing changes with various retailers
    • Drive global new point of distribution strategy in collaboration with VP of Sales and CEO (work cross-functionally with Finance, Ops, and PD/regulatory)
    • Oversee Commercial Coordinator to assist with reporting, retailer set-up, brand portal and database entry and general team needs
    • Maintain relationships with merchants across all channels on short-term and long-term brand and business goals
    • Helps with setting annual retail targets per retailer
    • Re-forecasting sell-in budgets as needed
    • Deep understanding of Ulta and Sephora and local market nuances to help set overall account plan that guides category priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/GWP/sets, events and all other parts of the business.


  • Inventory & Operations Cross-Functional Partnership:
    • Oversees the monthly stock & sales plan negotiation process, providing guidance to demand planning; develops high-level monthly re-projections and investment/disinvestment strategies by SKU/category
    • Oversee aging stock in partnership with ops to sell to TJX as needed (manage this so this is no longer needed)
    • RTV management with ops and finance per retailer on monthly and quarterly basis
    • Provides guidance to planner in development of seasonal stock & sales plan


  • Qualifications/Experience:
    • 6-8 years of relevant work experience - preferably with a deep knowledge of both Ulta and Sephora
    • Strong relationship builder; strong interpersonal skills and team leader
    • Strong ability to collaborate with cross functional partners
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
    • Superior analytical skills and sound business and financial judgment
    • Strong excel and google slides skills
    • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
