Residential Technician For Doors & Gates

Job Overview:

An overhead door technician maintains, services and installs sectional, one-piece rolling steel overhead doors and operators, in residential, commercial and industrial applications. Job may require welding, low voltage wiring, pneumatic tools, hand tools, heavy lifting, overhead and work from ladders and operation of genie lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts and reach lifts. Technician is responsible for daily workload such as repairing floors and motors, troubleshooting errors, servicing equipment, estimating and installing all types of overhead and door products.

Responsibilities,

• Managing all on-site repairs, general maintenance, replacement and/or installation of overhead sectional garage doors, sheet and rolling steel doors, one piece doors, bi-parting doors and garage door operators.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automation system errors, technical equipment issues or supporting infracted problems and determine remidies
• provide excellent customer service, technical support
• produce quotes for repairs, equipment, or installations as needed
• build and maintain a positive relationship with customers

Requirements,

• 1 year construction technology certification
• trades of journey or apprentice
• carpentry or construction
• machine operator background
• customer service
• must have a clean driving record!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
