Installation Apprentice

Summary

The primary purpose of the Installation Apprentice is to learn and grow in the flooring installation trade. No experience is necessary.
After apprenticing for approximately one year, the apprentice will have the opportunity to make $50k + each year.

Duties

In-store and on-the-job training, working with tools, and installing flooring materials alongside a supervisor.
Competencies and skills include- listening well to others, speaking clearly, taking initiative to improve performance, works to overcome obstacles, uses time efficiently, is responsible with tools, follow projects through to completion, encourages others to succeed, accepts responsibility, asses customer and store needs, and keeping work areas clean.

Requirements

Be a US citizen or have a valid Visa work permit.
Must be 21 years old AND have a valid driver's license (with no major tickets/violations) to be on company vehicle insurance.
High School diploma or GED.
Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
Lift and/or carry 50+ lbs.
Arrive on time daily.
Must have personal vehicle to go to and from work.
Attend mandatory employee meetings.
Clean, respectable language is spoken.
