Job Summary

The Warehouse Technician ships, receives, and records the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment, and stock to and from our warehouse. The position will work with other warehouse technicians to ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times. They will report to a manager with a team lead overseeing daily tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Picking parts based on an order sheet provided by the team lead.
  • Assemble shipping boxes, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix packing slips and shipping labels.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace for self. Working with team to keep warehouse safe, clean and organized.
  • Loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
  • Maintain computerized record-keeping systems. Maintain parts and product inventory.
  • Operate pallet jack and/or hand truck to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
  • Ensure shipping turnaround deadlines met.
  • Empty cardboard and trash bins into the dumpster.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to read instructions, policies, procedures, packing slips and product descriptions.
  • Ability to stand or walk for more than 6 hours a day, operate pallet lift, and physically lift boxes of product up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
