Trucking Dispatcher and Manager

ADC Concrete & America's Trucking Company is now hiring for a trucking dispatcher and manager of the trucking division for our Greenville and Dayton locations.

Job Duties

• Coordinate and schedule jobs for dump trucks daily
• Search load boards for semi trucks, book loads, and coordinate drivers to fulfill loads booked
• Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery and good service
• Monitor trucks using GPS systems
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
• Resolve any issues or delays in transportation logistics
• Hire new CDL drivers, give road tests, and train new employees as needed
• Monitor Dayton location, look over trucks daily to make sure in good condition and no repairs are needed
• Communicate with mechanic about any repairs that may need done to dump trucks and semis, keep track of repairs, and make sure they get done properly and timely
• Review reports on profit/loss and ensure good profit for each job
• Fill in "as needed" if there is a call off from an employee
• Search for new work and contracts to keep trucks moving and not be limited to a few suppliers
• Move dump trucks and semis for repairs as needed

Experience

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role preferred
• Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
• Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations and best practices

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers
• Strong problem-solving skills to address any transportation issues or delays
• Knowledge of logistics processes and best practices
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping

Pay starting at $1000 per week with monthly commissions based on revenue.
