Position Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to contribute to the ongoing success of our reverse mortgage oversight team! You will be responsible for performing servicing oversight routines to ensure that our vendor is meeting HUD & investor guidelines, while also confirming that our borrowers are receiving the exceptional customer service they deserve. Essential Duties
- Process daily remittances
- Prepare & distribute pipeline activity reports
- Monitor portfolio and escalate all obstacles/delays
- Collaborate with vendor to help resolve issues
- Confirm vendor adherence to audit, regulatory and investor guidelines
- Order property valuations and maintain master tracking of collateral values
Requirements
- 2+ years mortgage servicing or servicing oversight experience
- Understanding of federal and state mortgage servicing requirements, standards and regulations
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, plan, and prioritize work
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Proficient in Excel (familiar with VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other simple formulas)
- Possess excellent communications skills with the confidence to persuade and negotiate
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- College degree
Desired
- Reverse mortgage origination &/or servicing experience
- Training in finance / mortgage banking
- Underwriting and appraisal analysis
