• The CNC Programmer has a comprehensive understanding and strong background working with Mastercam CAD/CAM (version 2022) software.
• Working closely with the machine shop department, tooling engineering department, and the management team.
• The overall goal is to optimize machining programs to reduce run-times, increase productivity and increase quality of our parts.

Who we’re looking for?

• 5+ years of recent experience programming 3-4 axis CNC mills with Mastercam CAD/CAM software for a high pace machine shop
• 3+ years of experience as a machinist in a job shop environment
• Experience reading and comprehending detailed engineering part drawings
• Ability to create setup sheets and maintain revision control on programs
• Experience with carbide tools and adjusting speed/feed parameters for maximum tool life
• Make suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability
• Develop and design machine fixture tooling as needed
• Meets expectations for productivity and production goals
• Provides consistent ideas for process improvements
• Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
• SolidWorks 3D Engineering software experience would be a plus
• Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate with employees at all levels within the company
• Be prepared to work occasional overtime when required
• High School Diploma or GED, Associate Degree, trade school training or apprenticeship program in a mechanical discipline or tool and die making
