Overview:
Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for an opportunity where your programming expertise and machining skills make an immediate impact? We are seeking a hands-on CNC Programmer/Operator to program, set up, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes while producing precision-machined components for a variety of custom applications.

Job Duties:

  • Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes using CAD/CAM software.
  • Develop G & M code programs with Fanuc-style controls to produce precision parts from engineering drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and GD&T specifications.
  • Select tooling and perform machine setups to ensure efficient production.
  • Produce high-quality machined parts while meeting customer specifications.
  • Partner with Engineering to manufacture custom components.
  • Work closely with Quality to troubleshoot and resolve machining or inspection issues.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment operating efficiently.
  • Implement improved machining techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Train and mentor new CNC programmers and setup personnel as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience programming and operating Haas CNC mills and lathes.

  • Strong knowledge of G & M code programming and Fanuc controls.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and thread micrometers.
  • Strong math skills with experience working in metric measurements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
