Job description

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficiency in engineering drafting and solid modeling software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook or similar email platforms)
  • Prior experience in metal fabrication or related manufacturing environments preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and contribute to group tasks
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes as required by job responsibilities


Job Duties:

  • Create and modify programs for sheet metal processing equipment, including laser cutters, punch presses, waterjet machines, and press brakes
  • Review and verify manufacturing files provided by customers (.dxf files or 3D models) for compatibility and accuracy
  • Interpret and apply information from blueprints and technical documentation
  • Draft and model individual parts and components using appropriate software tools
