Job description

We are seeking experienced CNC Programmer / Operator for our . This role will program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components to exact specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong G-code/C-code and FANUC experience, understands tool paths, and can make program adjustments directly at the machine. Strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading, setup, and inspection skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC mills; no lathes are used onsite.
  • Write, modify, and troubleshoot G-code and C-code programs.
  • Read and adjust tool paths as needed.
  • Work with FANUC controls and make program edits at the machine.
  • Read blueprints, technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and vises.
  • Use calipers, comparators, and other precision measuring equipment to inspect parts.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues.
  • Make adjustments to maintain quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven CNC milling programming and setup experience.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code, C-code, and Fanuc controls.
  • Ability to understand and modify CNC tool paths.
  • Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
  • Experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, Gibbs, or similar CAD/CAM software.
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability.
  • Knowledge of tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/machining education is a plus.
  • Precision machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
