Lead Maintenance Technician

Currently seeking an experienced LEAD MAINTENANCE TECH to join our team at our multi-family community. In the Lead position, you will oversee and direct the maintenance activities under the direction of the Property Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Assist the property management team in overseeing and maintaining the physical property and general maintenance repairs of the community.
• Must be able to handle plumbing repairs, HVAC equipment, appliance and carpentry repairs, electrical repairs and all facets of apartment make-ready.
• Ensure the property’s efficient operation on a day-to-day basis.
• Work within established budget limits.
• Purchase and maintain inventory for cost effective operations.·Schedule and complete the Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Overseeing the maintenance staff.·Assist in monitoring all work performed by outside contractors.
• Required to schedule and respond to on-call, after hour emergencies.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems.
• Keep Property Manager informed on the overall condition of the property and coordinating resolution of outstanding issues.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation according to state and federal laws and organizational policies and procedure.
• Ensure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment while remaining conscientious and adhering to policies and procedures.
• Able to work with moderate to minimal direct supervision.

Qualifications:

• 3 + years of multi-family supervisory experience. (required)
• Able to work with moderate to minimal direct supervision.
• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment while remaining conscientious and adhering to policies and procedures.
• General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, general maintenance
• HVAC/EPA Certification required.
• CPO certifications preferred.
• Employees must have reliable transportation to and from work each day, a valid driver’s license, current insurance and the ability to work on-call
